Team Sadler

Thank you for visiting our team’s page!
My name is Mark Sadler, team captain.

As you may or may not know, my dad (James Sadler, pictured above) recently died on June 17th. While he had a few other contributing factors, he also suffered from Parkinson's, like his dad before him. My dad was a regular supporter of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. We ride for him and my grandfather.

Team Sadler will be spread out a bit across the country and will participate in various lengths of rides (based on skill/comfort level). A portion of us will ride 50 miles on August 27th, 2022 from Baltimore to Annapolis and back to raise support. There will also be a contingent in Alaska (ask me for more info in the comments below). We will have a support vehicle for the B-to-A route for those that do not wish to do a 50 mile ride and for general emergencies. We plan to eat lunch in Annapolis, so even if you ride a shorter route, we cold have the support vehicle pick you and your bike up and meet us in Annapolis for lunch. I wanted to make this fun and easy to to participate. This isn't a race. It's a ride.

Here's a map of the current route we're planning for those of us here in Maryland (50.1 miles round-trip):

MJFF is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.

Your gift will make a real difference: 100 percent of Tour de Fox virtual ride proceeds will go directly to The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s high-impact research programs.

Thank you for your support!
