Thank you for visiting my page! This year, I am participating in the Michael J. Fox Foundation's (MJFF) Tour de Fox Cycling Series for Parkinson's Research.
My connection to the Parkinson’s disease community is due to my Mother, Gladys Bailey. She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s when she was 59. Of course, we were shocked. She did very well and lived with it for around 17 years before she passed away. She handled the situation with courage, and we were thankful for the advancements in medication and treatments that were made during that time.
I am excited to try and help raise funds for MJFF. MJFF is the world’s largest nonprofit funder of PD research. MJFF is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.
The ride will be done virtually this year. I plan to make the ride using Zwift and my trainer. Please consider following me and helping by donating!
Your gift will make a real difference: 100 percent of Tour de Fox Atlanta ride proceeds will go directly to The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s high-impact research programs.
